Not a single lagomorph was nominated for a Golden Globe. Did you notice? In fact, Hollywood has not honored a rabbit with a nomination since Jimmy Stewart, and that was for an imaginary rabbit in Harvey. A rabbit being played by a human, that’s what we call bunnyface. It’s very offensive.

And don’t even talk to me about Jessica Rabbit. Do you know what she did to young girl rabbit’s self-esteem? I’m sorry, I’ve seen a lot of rabbits but never anything like this exaggerated curvy caricature.

We need more positive rabbit role models. Peter Rabbit is a thief. Bugs is a cynic. The Easter Bunny is a dangerous glucose elevator.

And by the way, don’t think we didn’t notice, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, you gave an award to Glenn Close the other night. Glenn Close? Really. The Glenn Close who boiled one of us in Fatal Attraction?

Sick, Hollywood. Really sick.
