“I have mixed feelings, of course,” said the Seinfeld finale. “It’s been great being the worst series finale of all time. But it’s also been a lot of pressure.”

Last Sunday’s Game of Thrones series capper was awarded the honor last night in a solemn ceremony at the Worst Things of All-time Museum on Hollywood Boulevard and Serrano Avenue.

“It gives me great honor to present to the Game of Thrones series finale this award,” read Museum President Darryl Barbarian. “The board was unanimous in finding that there was absolutely no way the episode could have been worse. In terms of what the fans wanted, it was the exact opposite in every way. It was even worse than all the main characters being put in jail, as in the Seinfeld finale. Even though in this episode the main character was put in jail also, we did not see this as plagiarism, but a conscious homage that the writers were paying to the previous holder of the worst of all time crown.”

He was joined by other honorees in the TV section of the museum for a reception, including the winner of Worst Superbowl Ever, which went to this year’s Patriots vs. Rams debacle, called Super Bowl LIII when it really should have been called “I go to sleep on the couch for three hours and the half time show sucked too, thanks a lot, Adam Levine.”

(I know, that’s a long title. Probably the worst title of all time, but there is no award for worst fake title made up in a blog, so there.)

Meanwhile, in the Best Things of All Time Museum, in Beverly Hills, the longtime holder of Best Series Finale, the final episode of Mash, had this to say about GOT and the rest of it:

“Golden age of television? Meh…”
